一橋大学 / 金沢大学理工研究域数物科学系<br />有限要素法の誤差評価には補間誤差の評価が本質的な役割を果たしています。我々は本研究において、三角形要素上の補間誤差を精密に評価する公式を考案し、証明することに成功しました。特に、三角形要素上の補間誤差が三角形の外接円の半径で押さえられるという、外接半径条件を証明することができました。これにより、解に特異性が現れるような偏微分方程式を有限要素法で解く場合にも、効率的なメッシュ分割を行い、精度良く解を計算することが … 可能になりました。<br />The estimate for the interpolation error plays an essential role in error estimation for Finite Element Method. In our research, we obtained and proved precise formula that bounds interpolation error on the triangular elements. In particular, we proved that the interpolation error is bounded by the radius of circumscribed circle of the triangles. We call this condition circum radius condition.
