生体肝移植ドナーとなった人々の、臓器提供のために受ける手術に関連した情報への向 き合い方という出来事の語りを包括的に要約することで、生体肝移植ドナーの体験を明ら かにするため、生体肝移植ドナーとなった男性 3 名、女性 7 名を研究参加者として半構成 的面接を行い、質的分析を行った。移植に関わり、現在に至るまでの体験を、研究参加者 が語りやすいところから聞き取り、具体的な内容に深めていくことができるようにインタ ビューを行った。 　生体肝移植ドナーの手術に関連した情報への向き … 合い方として、「インターネットを中 心に情報収集したが、ほしい情報が得られなかった」、「情報はレシピエントのことに注目 し、自分のことはあえて見なかった」、「術前の情報と向き合えていなかった分、術後には 自分の身体に起こったことがショックだった」、そして「ドナーになるのは自分が決めたこ とだから引き受けるしかないと、自分のことは打ち明けなかった」であった。 これらのことから、ドナーに向けてのホームページ等を利用した、具体的で利用しやすい 情報提供システムを開発する必要性、説明の際や手術後の生体肝移植ドナーの心理状態を 十分に考慮してケアを行う必要性であることが示唆された。　To understand the lived experiences of living liver-transplant donors, semistructured interviews of 3 male and 7 female donors were conducted. The descriptions of how they accepted information regarding surgery for organ donation were qualitatively and inductively analyzed, and frankly and comprehensively summarized. The interviews initially included preliminary questions regarding the donors’ transplant-related experiences, which were easy to discuss, and gradually included questions eliciting more specific details. Living liver-transplant donors gathered information regarding surgery from the Internet, but they didn’t get any that they want. Also, they stated that ‘most of the information available was with regard to the transplant recipient rather than the donor’. Details of the interview indicated that ‘it was shocked what happened to their body, because they didn’t get the information before surgery’. And, ‘they accepted the consequences, because it was a choice they had made’. 　The results of this study suggest the need for support when one decides to become transplant donors, such as the website system that provides the information for donors and the introduction of psychological care to the donor. 続きを見る
