概要: We proposed the strain analysis theory considering radial Young's modulus distribution in yarn package, and theoretical strain distribution is derived by using the data of model experiment which decides radial Young's modulus distribution. The obtained results are as follows : (1) Strain analysis considering radial Young's modulus distribution come true by separating strain equations and using variable K for the hardness of yarn package. (2) Effectivness of radial Young's modulus of internal yarn layer is large for strain distribution. (3) Theoretical strain distribution in yarn package is good agreement to the experimental strain distribution. 目的 : 巻糸体内の半径方向ヤング率分布を任意に設定できる理論式を導き, この理論式にモデル実験より得られたヤング率分布を適用することで実際の巻糸体に近いひずみ解析を行った. 成果 : 1) ひずみ解析に硬度変数Kを用いて, ひずみ分布式を離散化することにより半径方向ヤング率を各糸層位置で任意に設定することが可能となる. 2) 巻糸体の半径方向ヤング率は, 内層ほどひずみ分布に与える影響が大きい. 3) モデル実験により得られた半径方向ヤング率分布を用いることにより, 実験値に近いひずみ分布を表す理論式が得られた. 続きを見る

概要: Distributions of radial Young's moduli were estimated by pushing the side faces of two kinds of yarn packages One is mad e by twisted polyester yarn, the other is nylon-6 yarn package The method of measuring radial Young's modulus is deduced from the relation between load acting on package and displacement of screw in package, for various yarn layer thicknesses and winding tensions 1) Compression load (P) acting on nylon-6 yarn package is linear to displacement (U). 2) Radial Young's modulus for polyester twisted yarn package is increased for the package formed under constant winding tension, and radial Young's modulus is constant for the package formed under controlled winding tension 3) Radial Young's modulus for the nylon-6 yarn package is linear to winding tension. These results show the necessity of the distribution of radial Young's modulus inyarn package in the stress-strain distribution. 目的 ポリエステル撚糸巻糸体あるいはナイロン巻糸体の一方の側面を押し付け, もう一方の側面での受ける荷重を, 糸層厚さや巻張力を変えて形成した巻糸体について測定することによって, 半径方向ヤング率の分布を推定した. 成果 1) ポリエステル撚糸巻糸体での圧縮荷重 (P) と変位量 (U) の関係は直線とみなすことができる. 2) ポリエステル撚糸巻糸体の半径方向ヤング率は巻張力一定として形成した巻糸体については糸層累積とともに大きくなるが, 巻張力制御を行った巻糸体については糸層厚さに関係なく一定となる. 3) ナイロン巻糸体の半径方向ヤング率は巻張力に比例して大きくなる. 以上より, 巻糸体内部の応力・ひずみ解析では, この半径方向ヤング率の変化を考慮する必要性のあることか分かった.<br />出版者照会後に全文公開 続きを見る

概要: We have studied the relationship between the pirn shapes and the power loss of rotating pirn, and also have discussed th e application of this study to high-speed winders which are frequently used for high-speed winaing and large package. The results obtained are as follows : 1) When the volume of pirn is constant, the power loss decreaves as the outside diameter and the taper angle of a pirn decreases. 2) A triangle cover with the base angle of 20 degrees is better than one with the base angle of 40 degrees from the viewpoint of power loss. 3) When we use the Reynolds number defined and the relationship between the Reynolds number and friction-factor in this study, we are able to estimate the power loss for any pirn shapes. 目的 巻糸体を回転させる際に生ずる動力損失と巻糸体形状の関係を調べる.また, 現在の高速化, ラージパッケージ化の巻糸体形状の例として高速ワインダによる巻糸体を取り上げ, 高速ワインダへの本実験結果の適用性および応用性について考察と検討を行う. 成果 本研究によって得られた結果を以下に示す. 1) 巻糸体の体積を一定とすれば, 最外径並びにテーパ角が小さいほど巻糸体の消費動力値は小さくなる. 2) 巻糸体周りに設置するカバーは, 巻糸体の形状を問わず底角20 degの三角カバーの方が40 degの場合より消費動力値は小さくなる. 3) 本報で定義したレイノルズ数を用いることによって, 任意形状の巻糸体の消費動力値を求めることができる. 続きを見る

概要: 目的 第1報で巻糸体周りの流れ状態の実験的な測定及び観察を行い, 第2報でこの流れを有限要素法により理論的に求めて考察した結果, 実験値と比較してほぼ一致した.そこで本報では, 第1報の実験手法並びに第2報の解析法を用いて, 巻糸体周りに種 々の形状のカバーを設置して, カバーが巻糸体の動力損失に及ぼす効果を考察し検討する. 成果 本研究によって得られた結果を以下に示す. 1) カバー設置による巻糸体の動力損失に影響を与える因子として, 前報に記したポンプ作用による因子と巻糸体とカバー間のせん断力による因子の他に, 巻糸体とカバー間内で流体が巻糸体に衝突することによる抵抗による因子があり, 円筒カバーはこの影響が大きいことが分かった. 2) 円筒カバー設置により巻糸体周りの流体の撹拌領域が減り, 動力損失は小さくなった.そして, このカバー高さは大きいほど動力損失は小さくなった.しかし, カバー高さが巻糸体周りの流れの吹き出し幅よりも小さいとこれが吹き出し流れの障害となるので, 動力損失はカバーなしのときよりも大きくなった.3) カバーに角度をつけた場合, その傾きが巻糸体テーパ部のそれと同じ角度のとき, 動力的に他の本研究で試みたすべてカバーも含めて最もよいことが分かった. We performed some experimental tests and observations of the flow around the high speed rotating pirn in the first report, and we theoretically obtained this flow by using the FEM in the second report. The results showed that the theoretical values gave approximation to the experimental values. In this report; we analyzed the effects of the various cover shapes on power loss to rotate the pirn. The results obtained are as follows : 1) In the two previous reports, we supposed two factors to produce the power loss, caused by the air pump effect and the shearing force between the rotating pirn and the cover. In this report, we considered another factor that the air flow inside of the cover collides with the surface of the rotating pirn. Especially in case of cylindrical covers, this effect is remarkable. 2) It is shown that the space in which the rotating pirn stirs the air around itself, is reduced by setting the covers and the effect generally makes the power loss decrease. The higher the cover becomes, the more the power loss decreases. On the contrary, when the height of the cover is smaller than that of the region in which the air blowes out from the rotating pirn, the power loss is larger than that without the cover because it prevents the flow from blowing out. 3) The cover, of which the cross sectional shape is triangle and the base angles are 20 degree the same as the taper angle of the pirn, is most effective to reduce the power of all covers tested in this study. 続きを見る

概要: The flow around the high speed rotating pirn and energy loss are measured experimentally. A technique to decrease the energy loss is considered. The results obtained are as follows : 1) It is shown quantitatively that the air around the rotating pirn is sucked from the upper and lower parts and is blown from the middle part. 2) When the cover, of which the cross sectional shape is triangle, is set aroundthe rotating pirn, the energy loss is improved about 20 percent. 続きを見る

概要: The flow around a pirn rotating at high speed was analysed and considered by using parameters as numbers of revolutions and irn surface conditions. The results obtained from this analysis were as followed: 1) The flow around the rotating pirn with the boundary conditions of numbers of revolutions and pirn surface conditions can be analysed. 2) The velocity vector of flow in the proposed analysis has good agreement with experiment results for the previous described conditions. 3) From the flow analysis by FEM (finite element method), we can learn contour of Stokes' stream function, vortexes and circumferential reverse flow which can't be easily obtained from experiment. 目的 巻糸体の回転数や表面状態をパラメーターとして, 高速回転する巻糸体周りの流れ場を有限要素法により解析して, この結果を先に発表している実験結果と比較, 検討しながら考察する. 成果 本研究によって得られた結果を以下に示す .1) 巻糸体の回転数や表面状態の境界条件の扱いを含めて, 巻糸体周りの流れ場を解析することができた. 2) 巻糸体周りの速度ベクトル解析値は, 前報の各条件下の実験結果と比較してほぼ一致した. 3) 流れ場解析結果から, 測定実験では容易に得ることのできない流れ関数や渦度の等値線及び円周方向の流れの逆流等を知ることができた. 続きを見る

概要: In this paper, the dynamic fracture phenomenon of a mixed mode is analyzed by using the dynamic photoelastic technique. The specimen is an obliquely cracked plate made of epoxy resin. A tensile pulse wave, whose height and width are controlled, is generated by an impact apparatus and travels through a plate. The dynamic fracture stresses and crack propagating angles for several cases are measured. These results are compared with the values calculated by the static fracture criterion of the mixed mode, that is Erdogan-Sih's criterion, and the adaptability of the criterion to dynamic fracture is discussed. 続きを見る

概要: 金沢大学理工研究域機械工学系<br />Pitching machine is widely used in venues ranging from professional baseball stadiums to batting cen ters. However, the throw performance of the pitching machines that have been developed so far for use during batting practice is not very high. Pitches such as the fastball, curveball and screwball are easily achieved by the pitching machine with three rollers which were developed by the authors. In this study, the moving behavior and contact stress state of the ball pitched with the three rollers type pitching machine is analyzed using dynamic finite element analysis software (ANSYS/LSDYNA). The effect of the seam of a baseball to the throw accuracy is analyzed numerically. In the analysis, the finite element models of a detailed baseball with a seam and a pitching machine with three rollers are used. Additionally, convex and concave rollers are made and those are analyzed. From the analytical results, it is understood that the convex roller is higher than other rollers in throw accuracy. The convex roller geometry is optimized, and the optimum conditions (shapes and material properties) of the convex roller are decided.
