概要: 金沢大学医薬保健研究域保健学系 施設における排便ケアシステムの構築を目指した介入を行い、その効果を評価した。プログラムAは、The Bristol Stool Scaleを用いて便の性状をアセスメントして便通コントロールをする能力 … 、および排便ケアリーダーが排便ケア改善計画を立案して実施し、評価する能力の育成のため、6ケ月間の研修会を実施した。プログラムBは、研修会後も引き続き6ケ月間、施設内における排便ケア改善計画の実施を支援するための組織内教育を加えた。研修会により、スタッフの便の性状のコントロール能力の向上の効果が示唆された。さらに組織内教育を行なうことで、施設内の排便ケアのシステムの構築における有効性が示唆された。 This study was conducted to evaluate the construction of a system for defecation care in long-term care health facilities. In both Programs A and B, fecal assessment using the Bristol Stool Scale was introduced, and a defecation care leadership development workshop helped staff members to develop a defecation care improvement plan. In Program B, researchers also performed in-house education for 6 months after the workshop to support the defecation care improvement plan.It is suggested that the promotion of workshops for training defecation care leaders would improve thequality of defecation care. 概要: 金沢大学医薬保健研究域保健学系 本研究の目的は、要介護高齢者の排便ケアの質の向上を目指し地域の包括的排便ケア支援システムを構築することである。A県内３地域にモデル地域を設置し、急性期病院、介護老人保健施設、老人福祉施設、訪問看護ス … テーション等の各施設の課題を分析し、施設を超えてディスカッションできる場づくりと、排便ケアのスペシャリストからなる「排便ケア支援専門職チーム」の指導を受けながら各施設別に排便ケアの実態と課題を分析し、地域の排便ケア支援システムのモデル案を作成した。継続的に排便ケアが行われるためのサポート体制の確立や施設の枠を超えた情報交換の場が生まれた。 The aim of this study is to build a comprehensive defecation care support system in a region aimed at improving quality of defecation care for the elderly in need of care. A model region was established in 3 regions in A prefecture and in each facility such as acute stage hospitals, nursing healthcare facilities for the elderly, welfare facilities for the elderly and home-visit nursing stations issues were analyzed. Conditions and issues of defecation care at each facility were analyzed while creating opportunity for discussion outside that of the facility and receiving guidance from “defecation care support specialist team” made up of defecation care specialists and a model plan of defecation care support system for a region was created.
