The former lecture is aimed at freshmen to keep on a proper way in both social and college life. It consists of normal class and e-learning system lectures. E-learning system examination requires students to review the whole text book and that seems to have brought better results in the survey. The latter seminar is aimed at freshmen to get active and self-disciplined learning way through their investigation, discussion, presentation, writing work, and so on.

This paper is concerning of proposal of the photocatalyst method which used the condensation together to clean the gas including oil-mist and odorous component, and it was clarified experimentally about the influence of operation condition and surface shape of the condensation side for the removal of oil-mist and the odorous components of formaldehyde, amine and ammonia.

ntal protection. Bamboo charcoal has high adsorption removal ability to various substances. In addition Bamboo charcoal is effective also for the filtration of the suspended solid and the bacterium by the macro pore that originates in the plant frame structure. In present paper, a new concept of gas clean technology by bamboo charcoal and TiO2 with UV light irradiation was proposed. Its system is composed of TiO2-coated bamboo charcoal, TiO2-coated silica gel and UV lamp. Water vapor is adsorbed by bamboo charcoal and fine particles and airborne bacterium are trapped on the surface of it. Trapped contaminant is degraded by TiO2 and UV light. In addition, the degradation is promoted by •OH produced by adsorbed water vapor. The air purification sanitization possibility in high efficiency for this system was clarified.

wire-electrodes were set at right angles to the primary flow direction. A theoretical analysis was also performed on the electric and the flow fields taking account of the interaction between these fields. Comparing the experimental and analytical results, firstly, the combined flow field where cellular secondary motion occurred owing to the field's interaction was characterized with the wire-electrode arrangement. Secondly, the improvement of heat transfer enhancement under the condition of constant electric power was achieved by means of the staggered wire-electrode arrangement, and the optimum offset ratio was clarified in conjunction with the primary flow velocity and the electric power.

wire-electrodes were set in parallel to the primary flow direction, and an electric field was applied. A theoretical analysis was performed on electric, flow, and temperature fields taking account of the interactions among them. By comparing the experimental results with the analytical results, the flow combined with the longitudinal vortex motions was clearly defined in relation to the applied voltage, the primary flow velocity, and the wire-spacing. The mechanism of heat transfer enhancement was found to correspond positively to the combined flow. The characteristics of heat transfer were also observed to be in connection with the arrangement of wire-electrodes such as the wire-spacing in spanwise and the wire-offset ratio in the channel height direction.
