概要: Japanʼs first UNESCO World Heritage Site is Horyuji Temple in Ikaruga Town, Nara Prefecture. Horyuji Temple, constructed … in the 7th century, is famous for being the oldest existing wooden building in the world, and residents of Ikaruga regard it as their townʼ s symbol. Between 2000 and 2005, the authors conducted a comprehensive survey on the modern architectural heritage in Ikaruga and composed an inventory of 550 heritage sites. This inventory indicates that Ikaruga has a rich architectural history in addition to Horyuji Temple, a fact that astonished the townʼs residents. Following this activity, in 2012 the authors created, and have since maintained, a database of old photos of the modern heritage and landscape sites of Ikaruga in collaboration with the Ikaruga Town Library. This paper provides an introduction to the methods and practices that are involved in conducting a heritage survey and provides the know-how necessary to contribute to and improve the cultural environment by utilizing and connecting the public architectural heritage with residentsʼ private histories. 続きを見る

概要: 金沢大学新学術創成研究機構 / 京都大学<br />本研究では、ポピュラー文化ミュージアムの中でも特にマンガミュージアムを対象とし、そこにおける来館者行動と各博物館建築の展示空間との関係を、比較・分析・解明することができた。対象地として日本 … 国内はもとより、フランス、韓国などで調査を行った。また、参加者100名を超えるシンポジウムも日本で開催し、マンガミュージアムに関する課題や可能性を整理することができた。建築学会の査読論文1本、研究分担者らによる共著査読論文1本、書籍として『マンガミュージアムへ行こう』、研究内容をまとめたディスカッションペーパー2冊（各120ページ程度）を具体的な成果として提出した。<br />The study focused on popular culture museum; it especially compared, analyzed and explored manga museums by looking at the exhibition spaces and its visitor behavior. We have done surveys not only in Japan but also in France and Korea. Our symposiums were successful with more than 100 participants, and a thorough discussion about manga museums was held. As outcomes of this research project, we have one refereed paper in the Architectural Institute of Japan by Tanigawa, another refereed paper in Central Japan Society for Human Studies by other research members, one co-written book ‘Let’s go to manga museums’, and two ‘Discussion Papers’ i.e.booklets of about 120 pages which put together our research results.<br />研究課題/領域番号:24656343, 研究期間(年度):2012-04-01 – 2015-03-31 続きを見る

概要: 金沢大学新学術創成研究機構 / 京都大学<br />本研究では、学術的空白となっていた朝鮮民主主義人民共和国（以下、北朝鮮）の建築・都市史に対して、そのアウトラインを解明・構築することができた。特に、建築・都市・土木の包括的観点からアプロー … チできた上、国際的かつ学際融合的観点から独創的な研究を進めることができた。その結果、建築や都市のみならず北朝鮮社会の多角的理解に向けた学術的基盤を作ることができた。4年間で30件以上の学術論文、研究発表を日本語・英語・コリア語で行ったことが具体的な成果である。<br />In this research project, we tried to clarify and illustrate the outline of the architectural and urban history of North Korea.
