金沢大学医薬保健研究域保健学系<br />海外で重視されているJob Embeddedness（JE：根付き）の概念を取り入れ、日本の看護師の就業継続意思への説明変数になりうるかを検討すること、さらに職場環境、バーンアウト、JE、メンター、認知再解釈思考と就業継続意思との因果関係を包括的に描いたプロセスモデルの構築をめざすことであった。解析の結果、当初の予測は支持されず、日本においてJEを単独の説明変数と結論づけるのは時期尚早と考えられた。そのため、次にメンターは … 就業継続意思に影響を及ぼすかを確認した。その結果、メンターは看護師の職場においての共同体、自身の職務効力感と就業継続意思に直接的な影響をおよぼすことが示唆された。<br />Nurses stay if they are satisfied with their jobs, or committed to their organizations. However, job embeddedness (JE), defined as “combined forces that bind people to the jobs”, has been introduced as a key factor. Therefore, we examined whether JE is a promising construct. Our results suggested that JE does not independently explain retention of Japanese nurses. Our study did not support previous studies performed in western countries such as USA. We then examined how mentors affects the workplace environment and associated occupational stress as well as the influence on willingness of nurses to continue working. In analysis by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), “mentors affect community in the workplace environment” and “mentors affect feeling of professional efficacy” were selected as the final models.
