概要: 金沢大学総合メディア基盤センター<br />As the total amount of data measured by scientific spacecraft is drastically increasing, it is necessary for researchers to develop new computation methods for efficient analysis of these enormous datasets. In the present study, we propose a new algorithm for similar data retrieval. We first discuss key descriptors that represent characteristics of the VLF/ELF waves observed by the Akebono spacecraft. Second, an algorithm for similar data retrieval is introduced. Finally, we demonstrate that the developed algorithm works well for the retrieval of the VLF spectrum with a small amount of CPU load. 続きを見る

概要: Historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and sustainable urban design that considers the full range of social, environmental, and economic factors is an essential component of sustainable urban development, while the mapping of historic buildings which can be archived and extracted for application, is the basic work on the protection of historic buildings and adaptive reuse. Traditional mapping methods need more time and more workers, and there are measured omissions, mistakes and other issues which go against the protection of the measured objects. 3D laser scanning technology is a new technique for quickly getting three-dimensional information. This paper introduced a measurement principle for 3D laser scanning technology and took Shang Shu Di, a Ming Dynasty building which is an officially protected heritage site of China in Taining County of Fujian Province, as a case study, and studied the application of mapping historic buildings based on 3D laser scanning technology. Then, a comparison of 3D laser scanning technology with the traditional method of detailed components mapping has been illustrated to indicate the advantage of 3D laser scanning technology in historic building mapping. Finally, aimed at the technical problems of the huge amount of data generated in the application process and the software defects of Cyclone, this paper presented two specific coping strategies which are “reasonable data collection and processing” and “construction of historic building components database”. 続きを見る

概要: Japanʼs first UNESCO World Heritage Site is Horyuji Temple in Ikaruga Town, Nara Prefecture. Horyuji Temple, constructed in the 7th century, is famous for being the oldest existing wooden building in the world, and residents of Ikaruga regard it as their townʼ s symbol. Between 2000 and 2005, the authors conducted a comprehensive survey on the modern architectural heritage in Ikaruga and composed an inventory of 550 heritage sites. This inventory indicates that Ikaruga has a rich architectural history in addition to Horyuji Temple, a fact that astonished the townʼs residents. Following this activity, in 2012 the authors created, and have since maintained, a database of old photos of the modern heritage and landscape sites of Ikaruga in collaboration with the Ikaruga Town Library. This paper provides an introduction to the methods and practices that are involved in conducting a heritage survey and provides the know-how necessary to contribute to and improve the cultural environment by utilizing and connecting the public architectural heritage with residentsʼ private histories. 続きを見る

概要: Global geological hazards have brought huge losses, and the fast development in China is no exception. At present, China's hazard prevention and mitigation research and construction is mostly concentrated in the cities, while the rural, mountainous regions suffering the most serious damage and loss from geological hazards are neglected. In these areas, hazard prevention planning is missing or uses the city standard, lacking scientific analysis and theoretical support. Therefore, the study of disaster prevention and mitigation in remote regions is becoming more urgent. Existing studies on geological hazard prevention mainly focus on urban areas but ignore remote and rural areas where large numbers of people live. By drawing experience from disaster prevention and reduction in urban areas and incorporating effective scientific methods, this study aims to establish a planning support system for disaster mitigation to reduce the impact of disasters in rural areas on people and their property. The most significant contributions this research and practice offers is as follows. Firstly, the high-precision data of the villages, which is usually lacking and difficult to acquire, can easily and quickly be obtained by unmanned aerial vehicles (UVA) equipped with optical sensors and laser scanners. Secondly, combining high-precision data and the disaster evaluation model, geological disaster risk assessment technology has been developed for rural areas that addresses not only the natural factors but also human activities. Thirdly, based on disaster risk assessment technology, disaster prevention planning that has been constructed specifically for villages is more quantitative than before. Fourthly, with the application of a planning support system in disaster mitigation, a scientific and effective solution for disaster rescue can be achieved automatically. Lastly, this study selects a suitable area for implementation and demonstration, which can verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the system and enrich the knowledge base through a demonstration case. Based on the above research, a scientific hazard prevention strategy is put forward, which provides a scientific basis for decision-making and a support method for disaster prevention planning in villages. 続きを見る

概要: 細胞内シグナル伝達機構や薬剤感受性に関わる遺伝子変化を脳腫瘍の培養細胞および臨床検体において検討し、小児悪性脳腫瘍にはこのPI3Kシグナルがあまり関与しないこと、また成人膠芽腫の薬剤耐性遺伝子調節発現におけるメチル化とmRNA発現に相関があ ることを見出した。また、脳腫瘍についてのデータベースを作成し、石川県始め、近県20施設に配布した。本データベースの充実により、小児悪性脳腫瘍を始めとする脳腫瘍全般に関する知見を得る準備ができた。<br />研究課題/領域番号:19790991, 研究期間(年度):2007–2008 続きを見る

概要: In order to examine the efficient management method of the vast amount of information on adverse events, a questionnaire survey on the evaluation organization of adverse events in a clinical trial and the implementation of information technology for information management was given to 50 clinical trial sponsors. Of the sponsors, 64% has a evaluation criteria for the causal relationship of an investigational drug and adverse events, but the 84% is "internal original standard". With 56% of sponsors, a doctor permanently resides to perform causal relationship evaluation, and 44% of sponsors rely on "outsourcing". All sponsors with no permanent residence doctor and no evaluation criteria are Japanese companies. A delay in maintenance in information management organization, including the holding frequency of the evaluation committee, was observed in Japanese sponsor. Among sponsors, 88% replied that it would be useful to create a database of adverse events, presuming that sponsors can correspond with front electric formal data. However, the sponsors do not wish to meet the request from each individual institution, rather they want to offer by standard format; both the sponsor and the institution need to agree on standard data items. 続きを見る
