概要: Laser cleaving process is a prospective technique to divide a thin plate of brittle materials into small pieces, because of its high yield ratio and controllability. In addition, the process is carried out without coolant which causes the environmental pollution and the contamination of the electrical devices etched on the wafer. In this paper, laser cleaving of silicon wafer is conducted with pulsed Nd: YAG laser. The temperature of laser spot is measured by means of the two-color pyrometer with optical fiber and the acoustic emission caused by crack propagation is also observed. When the laser spot is scanned at the appropriate interval and velocity, the crack propagates in sequence by the corresponding laser irradiation. As a result, both high linearity of cleaved edge and fine fractured surface roughness are obtained. The thermal stress distribution induced by laser irradiation is analysed with FEM model, in which the stress intensity factor is calculated at the vicinity of the crack tip in order to clarify the criterion of crack propagation. The analysis and experiments reveal that the maximum tensile stress at the crack tip increases with temperature and the crack propagates when the stress intensity factor reaches the fracture toughness of the material. 続きを見る

概要: This paper proposes a new repulsion type radial magnetic bearing system which has the single-axis controlled electromagnet. The radial bearing section of this system makes good use of repulsive force between rotor and stator permanent magnets. This system eliminates the radial controllers by the suitable arrangement of these permanent magnets, therefore the simplified magnetic bearing system can be realized. It is possible to apply it fly-wheel energy storage and uninterrupted power supply. The paper deals with the configuration of a new type magnetic bearing system based on the measurement of repulsive force and the FEM analysis of permanent magnet structure. The characteristics of magnetic levitation and stable rotation, and the decay of rotor speed under inertial condition are discussed. 続きを見る

概要: 金沢大学理工研究域地球社会基盤学系<br />合理的な道路盛土の耐震検討の実施には, 盛土断面におけるせん断波速度などの地盤物性値を評価しておく必要がある。しかし, PS検層などでは, 盛土内におけるせん断波速度の面的な分布の推定は困難であ る。そこで本研究では, 常時微動計測を利用した道路盛土断面におけるせん断波速度の評価方法を提案する。具体的には, まず, 能登有料道路の高盛土を対象に, 法肩~小段~法尻の6地点において常時微動アレー計測を実施し, 高盛土の伝達関数を評価した。次に, 常時微動アレー計測と動的線形FEM解析の伝達関数が整合するように, 高盛土断面におけるせん断波速度の分布を推定した。最後に, 2007年能登半島地震における推定地震動を用いた動的非線形FEM解析を実施し, 被災実績と矛盾しないことを確認した。<br />The evaluation of the shear wave velocity distribution in the road embankment is necessary for the rational seismic assessment. However, the evaluation of shear wave velocity is usually difficult. In this study, the evaluation method of the shear wave velocity distribution in the road embankment using the microtremor measurement is proposed. First, the transfer functions of a high embankment in the Noto Toll Road were evaluated based on array measurements of microtremor at the toe, banquettes and shoulder. Next, the shear wave velocity profile of the high embankment was calibrated so that the transfer functions in the elastic FEM analysis agree with the observation. Finally, we confirm that a seismic response analysis using the estimated shear wave velocity is consistent with the actual damage results in the 2007 Noto Hanto Earthquake. 続きを見る
