概要: 金沢大学理工研究域地球社会基盤学系<br />Our atmosphere, oceans, sediments and soils, all reflect major or minor influences of the biosphe re. In the sediments, erosion of the topsoil, complex mixture of clay minerals and carbon compounds, is one of crisis in the world economy. Clay mineralogist concerned with the sediments and mineral deposits must understand weathering processes plus microorganisms in detail. Bacteria must be important in all transport processes of elements between sediments and water systems. In the atmosphere, fine particles, such as clays, loess and fly ash produced by combusion of fossil fuels are biologically and chemically recycling in our planet. The consequences of a massive increase in the use of coal or other fossil carbon sources give the global atomospheric increase of CO2N2O, acid gases, etc.Modern electron microscopic techniques and the new array of computer surface techniques, ESCA, Auger, SIMS, etc. have made it possible to see Å level structures, and chemistry of the fine particles. Examples of such fine mineralogical particles in the surface environment are described in this paper. 続きを見る

概要: Electromagnetic devices such as superconducting magnets, magnetically levitated vehicles and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) create high magnetic fields within their immediate vicinity. This has generated some concerns over the effects that these fields may have on the outside environment and in particular on living organisms. 50/60Hz magnetic fields are of special concern because living organisms are exposed to them on our environment. The measurement of low frequency magnetic field on our environment is important to find out a possible relationship between magnetic field and health hazards. The low frequency magnetic field measurements in urban locations are presented. We investigated the influence of a strong 60Hz AC magnetic field of about 1.0T on organisms. The high AC magnetic field is generated by using a multilayer eddy-current type AC magnetic generator developed in our laboratory. In this paper, the generation of heat shock protein by magnetic stimulus is discussed in nematode, and in vitro experiments were performed with biochemical reactions, enzyme and DNA synthesis. 続きを見る

概要: 金沢大学人間社会研究域人間科学系<br />本研究では,色彩環境,特に青色環境が人の認知的機能や心理的反応,行動などへ影響を与えるのか否かを検証した。実験1では先行研究における認知課題成績を再検討したが,文字判断課題となぞなぞ課題での反応時 間が赤色条件で短い傾向を示した。実験2では,系列位置学習を用いて記憶成績への色彩の影響を調べたが,色彩条件による成績の有意差は現れなかった。実験3では白色と青み,赤みのかかった照明光を用いて,ストループ課題と内田クレペリン検査を行った。しかし,照明条件による成績の一貫した違いは示されなかった。これらの実験結果は,巷で語られている「青色効果」を疑問視させるものである。<br />The present study examined whether the color environment, especially blue, influence human cognitive function, psychological response, or behavior. Experiment 1 tried to replicate the results in cognitive tasks reported in previous studies. Only Letter judgment task and Quiz task showed the better performance in red color condition. Experiment 2 investigated the effect of color on memory tasks using the serial-position learning. However, no significant difference in performance was observed consistently among the color conditions. Experiment 3 employed Stroop task and Kraepelin test. However, the systematic difference in performance was not shown over the conditions. 概要: ○本年度はパキスタンならびに中国の内蒙古自治区,新彊省,ならびに麻黄栽培の中心地である寧夏自治区において現地調査を行なった. ○パキスタンへは6月28日〜7月13日迄,日本から御影,高橋,2名が赴き,現地ではパキスタン大学客員教授の津田喜典 金沢大学名誉教授の案内で北部のノーザンエリアを調査し,18か所で50点の資料を採集した.同時期,7月6日〜8月3日,代表者が指導する大学院生の隆長鋒君を単独新彊省へ派遣し,重慶市中薬研究院の鐘國躍院長他2名のスタッフとともにジープを借り上げて現地調査を行なった.また,代表者の御影と協力者2名(うち1名はCOE経費)は7月29日に重慶市へ行き,先述の隆長鋒君と合流し,鐘國躍院長らから調査報告結果を受けた.その後北京へ行き,8月12日まで,北京大学の蔡少青数授の協力のもと,マイクロバスを借り上げ,内蒙古自治区で現地調査した.また,9月8日〜9月15日には御影と協力者1名(COE経費)が寧夏自治区とその近辺へ赴き,主として麻黄栽培地の調査を行なった. 以上の調査では目的とした多数のマオウ属植物調査採集した.採集地では,採集地の緯度経度,標高等を記録するとともに,DNA解析用の資料蒐集をも行なった.また,必要に応じて,聞き取りによる資源状況の調査や,とくに,寧夏自治区では,栽培地に生える雑草の調査をも行なった. ○本年度の調査で明らかになったことは,パキスタンにはマオウ資源がまだ豊富にあること,中国においては,マオウ属植物は海岸線にも生育していること,麻黄栽培においては雑草対策と灌水対策が今後解決されるべき問題点であることなどが明らかになった. ○帰国後,これまでに蒐集した資料を用いて,植物分類学的,組織分類学的,成分化学的,分子生物学的研究に着手した.また,増殖研究や耐塩性の試験など,栽培研究も開始した.<br />The current year, we surveyed the wild Ephedra plants in Pakistan, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region as well as cultivated land of the plants in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.The survey of Pakistan was made by Mikage and Takahashi, from June 28^<th> through July 13^<th>. Dr Tsuda, the emeritus professor of Kanazawa University also the visiting professor of Karachi University, guided us during the search. In Northern Aria of Pakistan, we collected 18 specimens in 1 8 different sites. The survey of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was conducted by Mr.Long Changfeng, a doctor course student of Kanazawa University under the direction of Professor Mikage. The end of the survey, Mikage and two collaborators(the expence of one of them was covered by COE) were joined them in Chongching, and we examined the result of the survey. After the research in Chongching, we started die survey in Inner Mongolia through August 12th. We went to Peking to rent a microbus by help of Professor Cai Shaoqing of Peking University. Mikage and a collaborator(expence was covered COE) surveyed mainly cultivated Ephedra plants in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region from September 8^<th> through 15^<th>.By these surveys, we could collect many Ephedra plant specimens at the investigated sites. The latitude, longitude and altitude of the sites were measured and the samples for DNA analysis were collected. On occasion, we did hearing from local peoples about situation of resource of Ephedra. We investigated weeds grown in cultivated land.From the results we obtained this year, we found the following interesting findings ; (1)The resource of Ephedra plants in Pakistan is still rich. (2)Some Ephedra plants grow on the seashore in China.
