報告する。具体的には，留学生たちが旅行会社のインターンとなり，「訪日旅行客が求める体験型ツアーの提案」をグループで考え，それについてのプレゼンテーション行う活動である。受講した留学生からのフィードバックには，この活動全体への高い評価や，グループ活動への積極的な評価が現れていた。外国人留学生対象の日本語授業にも，新しい教育観を反映していく努力が必要だと思われる。<br />In addition to traditional academic Japanese skills, international undergraduate students must adapt to the new content of university education aimed at cultivating 21st century skills. This article reports on practical activities that enable international undergraduate students to learn public speaking skills comprehensively, which society emphasizes today. This was a specific practical activity：the groups of international undergraduate students propose a new“ Experiential Tours for Foreign Tourists” and present on the tours as interns at a travel agency. The international undergraduate students who took the course evaluated the overall activities highly and evaluated the group activities positively. Japanese language instructors must try to reflect the new view of education in Japanese classes for foreign students.

果，調査対象者全員がスピーチ指導の際には非言語行動を指導すると回答し，視線行動や姿勢，手の動き，顔の表情を主な指導項目として挙げた。評価の仕方については，非言語行動の種類によっても異なる結果が出た。また非言語行動の指導や評価をどのように考えて行うべきかについてはさまざまな意見が出され，今後の詳しい調査が必要なことがわかった。<br />The benefits of public speaking skills have been widely acknowledged in the teaching of Japanese as a foreign language. However, the treatment of nonverbal behaviour in Japanese speeches has not been studied in depth.In our survey all teachers who have experience of teaching public speaking in Japanese responded that they give advice on nonverbal aspects of delivery and that this consists mainly of giving eye-contact, posture, hand movement, and facial expressions. The evaluation criteria seem to vary according to the type of nonverbal element. Each teacher expressed a different view and approach in the treatment of both teaching and evaluation of nonverbal elements of the speech and this requires further study.

起こったCOVID-19の流行を契機に様々な教育活動がオンラインに移行したが，実践報告の共有は十分とはいえない。そこで本稿では2020年9 月に金沢大学がベトナムとロシアの日本語教師を対象に実施したオンライン日本語教師研修事業を報告する。それにより，海外の現職教員向けの日本語教師研修のプログラム開発とそのオンライン化における実践知の共有を目指す。<br />Traditionally, the Japan Foundation and local teacher training institutions have been overlooking overseas Japanese language teacher training. Nevertheless, the advent of online training, has enabled Japanese language teachers from various countries and with various attributes to train together. However, quality-assured online Japanese language teacher training programs for overseas teachers are scarce. In addition, the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic triggered various educational activities to transition to an online format, although there is insufficient haring of practice reports. Therefore, this article reports on an online Japanese language teacher training project conducted by Kanazawa University in September 2020 for Japanese language teachers in Vietnam and Russia.

動で，パブリックスピーキングのージャンルであるとみなされている。最近では大学での教育に，21世紀を生き抜くのに必要な21世紀型スキルの育成が強調され，大学における外国人留学生対象の日本語教育もこの例外ではなくなっている。分析の結果，ビブリオバトルの活動はこれらのスキルに多く関係することが明らかになり，パブリックスピーキングの教育は，21世紀に必要な学びの1つであることが示唆された。<br />This paper analyses the activities of "Biblio Battle" to clarify whether they contribute to improving public speaking skills, which are a necessary requirement for people living in the 21st century. Biblio Battle is a social activity in which participants compete by presenting book reviews, and it is considered a genre of public speaking. In recent years, universities too have begun to emphasize on the development of skills necessary for learners to live and work in today's world, and Japanese language education for international students in universities is no exception. The results of the research confirmed that activities such as Biblio Battle enhance the skills associated with 21 "-century skills. The results also indicated that international students acquire essential learning skills when they are taught public spealcing.

国につながる小中高校生を対象に，日本語で教科学習支援を行うもので，主に高校進学・卒業を目標として掲げ，一部大学受験支援も行っている。10年の活動を通じて，そして特に2019年4 月に施行される入管法の改正を受けて，外国につながる子どもたちへの学習支援（日本語指導の徹底，学校における教科指導，高校入試の入試特別措置や特別入学枠の導入，小中高校の在籍のありかたの弾力化等）が教育委員会・地域の学校によってより丁寧に行われる必要を痛感している。また，国レベルにおいても「教育の義務化」を含め，家族を伴う長期滞在・定住を志向する外国を背景とする市民のためのサポート体制を確立されることが望まれる。<br /> In this research, the faculty and volunteer students of Kanazawa University havecollaborated with the Komatsu International Association and the Kanazawa InternationalFoundation since 2009, to compile 10 years of learning support activities for childrenwith foreign backgrounds. The learning support activities in Komatsu City and KanazawaCity provide support in subjects for elementary, junior high and high school students, whohave foreign backgrounds, as well as support for some university entrance examinations.Our slogan is "Let's enter and graduate a high school !". In response to the amendment ofthe Immigration Act（ Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act）, which will beenforced in April 2019, and especially through the 10-years of support activities for childrenwith a foreign background （thorough study of Japanese language instruction, subjectguidance in school, special admission measures for high school entrance examinations,introduction of special enrollment framework, flexibility of ways of enrolling in elementaryand secondary school, etc.） are keenly aware of the need to be more carefully carried out bythe Board of Education and the local schools. In addition, on a national level, it is hoped thatthe “compulsory education” will have a support system established for citizens with foreignbackgrounds, especially for those intending on long-term stay and settlement accompanied bytheir families.

かについて，マルチモーダル分析を行うための基礎調査である。そのために，スピーチコンテストで話し手が用いる様々な非言語行動を観察し，その概要を記述した。具体的には，視線行動，ジェスチャー，うなずき，笑いである。この中で，特に手のジェスチャーには様々な種類があり，発話と合わせて考察したとき，異なる機能を持つことがわかり，説得への影響がある可能性が示唆された。<br /> To succeed in persuading audiences in public speaking, not only the contents of speechesbut also the nonverbal behaviors are important. This paper is a pilot study for a multimodalanalysis of public speaking. For this purpose, we observed various nonverbal behaviors,such as gazing, gestures, nods, and smiles, which were used by speakers of speeches, andwe described the characteristics. In these nonverbal behaviors, we found that there werevarious kinds of hand gestures. When we analyzed these gestures in relation to the speakers'utterances, we also found that the gestures had different functions during speeches. It cantherefore be concluded that hand gestures can play a part in persuading an audience.

することである。その結果，日本語パブリックスピーキングには様々なジャンルがあり，それぞれ全体構成や定型表現などの特徴を有していることがわかった。また，他の言語のパブリックスピーキングと比較した結果，文化による差がある可能性があることも明らかになった。昨今，日本語教育でも21世紀型スキルが重視されつつあるが，日本語パブリックスピーキング指導は新しい時代にふさわしいスキルの伸長に寄与するという結論に至った。<br />Public speaking is becoming increasingly important in the wake of society’s globalization. The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics of public speaking in Japanese and to consider the possibility of its inclusion in Japanese language education.The study revealed that Japanese public speaking consists of various genres, each of which has developmental patterns and formulaic expressions. In addition, the comparison of Japanese public speaking with public speaking in other languages showed a cultural difference. In recent years, Japanese language education for international learners has begun to place emphasis on developing learners' 21st century skills.
