金沢大学人間社会研究域学校教育系<br />年長児から小学校2年生までの3年に渡り，子どもと保護者を対象とする質問紙調査，インタビュー調査，観察調査を実施した。保護者は不安や困難を経験しながらも，家族，担任，知り合い等からサポートを得て子どもを支援し，1年生修了時には接続期の段差の意義を認識していた。接続期の支援として，就学前は小学生の保護者との懇談会，就学後は同学年保護者との懇談会や担任以外の学校の相談窓口を設けることが挙げられる。また，就学時健康診断が保護者の … 不安を軽減する機会となっているとは言い難いため，年長児と保護者が心身ともに健康に就学を迎えるうえで真に必要な情報を，種々の実状を反映しながら精選する必要があるであろう。<br />The present study investigates the attitudes of parents and their children towards transition from nursery school to primary school. Parents completed questionnaires about their views of transition and mental health and learning conditions of children at school and at home for three years. The results suggested that parents supported their children with the help of family, class teacher and acquaintances, while they faced with the anxiety during school transitions. Additionally, parents tried to introspect about their anxiety of transition and viewed transition gap as an important opportunity for children to grow, learn and equip them to be more resilient in the future. Support services which required from parents during transitional term were establishment of consulting service.
