る水稲品種の根系形態の違いによってリーチングに差異があるかどうかについての報告は少ない.本研究では, 施肥法の違いと根系形態の違いが土壌浸透水の量と硝酸態窒素のリーチングにどのような影響を及ぼすかについて検討するため, コンテナーを用いた栽培実験を行った.また, 硫酸カルシウムの施用効果についても検討した.施肥法は, 表層施肥(表層10cm)と深層施肥(10〜20cm)とし, 品種は, 農林3号(根系開度が小さい)と陸羽132号(根系開度が大きい)を用いた.浸透水量は深層施肥区に比べて表層施肥区で大きく, 農林3号においてこの差が顕著であり, 登熟期における毎分あたりの平均浸透水量は, 表層施肥区で301.5mlであるのに対し, 深層施肥区では55.3mlであった.また, 硫酸カルシウムの施用により浸透水量が増加する傾向が認められた.硝酸態窒素のリーチングはいずれの処理区においても小さく, 水稲栽培は地下水汚染に関しては影響が少ないと考えられる.しかし, 根系形態の違いや硫酸カルシウムの施用効果のメカニズムに関しては, 更に検討する必要がある. Two different genotypic varieties in rice (Oryza sativa L.), Norin 3 which shows a small spread of root systems, and Rikuu 132 which shows a large spread of root systems, were used under two different fertilizer applications, surface application and fertilizer application to deeper layer with two replications. Application rate of mined gypsum in each treatment is 0, 100, 200 and 400kg ha^<-1>, respectively. In this study, we used plastic containers (32cmx42cmx25cm in depth) with six plants per box to grow rice in the greenhouse. Nitrate-nitrogen leaching were measured every two weeks during the experimental period. Drainage water quantity per minute was shown 301.5ml min^<-1> in surface application and 55.3ml min^<-1> in the other treatment. The changes of nitrate-nitrogen leaching during the growth period showed the different patterns among the different N-fertilizer applications.
