のRouen-Normandie大学に6カ月間、イギリスのCambridge大学に計10カ月間受け入れていただき、フランス、イギリスのアーカイブ史料を閲覧、複写し、それを読み、論文にし、本研究費を用いて口頭発表を7回行った。また、その際に知り合った研究者の招待で、さらに2回の口頭発表（招待）を行う機会も持った。本研究の仕上げとして、旧英・葡領西アフリカの研究者を招いて、国際ワークショップを開催した。<br />This research attempted to unveil the impacts of the transitions from the monetary spheres with commodity money to those with the colonial currencies on the economic agents and economy in West Africa.For this purpose, I was appointed as a visiting scholar at the University of Rouen Normandy from September 2017 to February 2018 and at the University of Cambridge from March to September 2018 and from October to December 2019. 。このことが、西アフリカ全体での通貨統合の障害となっている。本研究では、21世紀になって新たに表面化したさまざまな対立とその背景を明らかにした。次に、旧英領諸国に導入された制度と比較しながら旧仏領西アフリカ諸国に導入された制度形成過程について調査をした。ただし、後者については金融のみならず植民地財政や郵便事業なども含めて検証する必要があることが判明した。後者については、継続する科研費研究で再調査を行う。<br />In these days, the methodologies to realize the monetary integration in the ECOWAS region becomes a significant issue. Behind it lies that Francophone West African countries except for Guinea largely inherited the financial system that France introduced in the colonial era. Notably, the "compte d'operation" opened at the French Treasury, which was imperative to pegg the CFA franc to the Euro, becomes an obstacle to forming a more extensive monetary integration, including the former British and Portuguese countries. First, this study uncovered the various conflicts over the monetary integration in the ECOWAS region. Next, this research tried to investigate the historical backgrounds of the "compte d'operation" and also reviewed the British system to compare it. However, it turned out that we need further investigation of the French fiscal system itself to obtain effective research outcomes. 行、国際決済銀行で入手した資料である。英国は元来、裁量的な銀行監督の手法を採っており、これは1979年銀行法成立後も継続することをイングランド銀行の資料から明らかにした。一方、フランスは法規制に基づいたアプローチを採り、それは欧州の銀行指令である1977年第一次銀行指令、1989年第二次銀行指令と調和するばかりでなく、今日のブリュッセル型の法規制を基にした銀行同盟とも整合性が合うことが明瞭になった。<br />This study elucidated the diverse approaches of banking supervision between the UK and France through a historical aspect. I examined the precious archives of the Bank of England, The National Archives, La Banque de France, and the Bank for International Settlements. These analyses clarified that the British approach had been a discretionary and non-statute basis even though the UK enacted the first Banking Act in 1979. Because of the its role as a harbinger of banking supervisor and its use of a cutting-edge methodology, the UK could lead the international harmonisation through a non-binding manner to integrate a vital discipline at the conference of Basel Committee on Banking Supervision. On the other hand, France's approach had been a legislative one which was consequently suitable to the Europe's banking legislation such as the First Banking Directive in 1977. が本格的にアフリカに流入するようになったのは、フランス革命後の19世紀である。19世紀の前半には、18世紀にサン・ドマングとの砂糖交易で繁栄のピークに達したボルドーからの商業資本が、そして、19世紀後半には、マルセーユからの商業資本が主に流入する。当初は、19世紀後半のマルセーユ企業(CFAO)に焦点を当てる予定であったが、調査をすすめるにつれて、それ以前にセネガルに進出したボルドー商社が、フランスのセネガル支配の基盤形成において重要な役割を果たしたことが明らかとなり、昨年度より、ボルドー商社のアフリカ進出について調査を開始した。今年度は、19世紀前半から半ばにかけてサン・ルイで成功したボルドーのある商会-Maurel et Prom社をとりあげ、それがセネガルのその後の経済発展に与えた影響について以下の点について明らかにした。1.Maurel et Prom社の概要2.Maurel et Prom社がセネガル川のゴム交易自由化を推進し、結果的にセネガル人商人の衰退を促した点。3.セネガル川のCoutume制度の緩和を求めるボルドー商人が、後にセネガルの国土統一を成し遂げたFaidherbe総督の誕生をサポートした点。4.セネガル銀行の設立後、Maurel et Prom社が銀行を支配し、現地商人に対して、信用供与を行わなかった可能性があることの指摘。本研究の成果は、2本の研究ノートと、1本の研究報告(国立民族学博物館)でおこなった。また、来年度の5月に開かれる日本アフリカ学会においても発表することになっている。<br />研究課題/領域番号:14730060, 研究期間(年度):2002 – 2004<br />出典：「域外企業が地域進化に果たす役割」研究成果報告書 課題番号14730060(KAKEN：科学研究費助成事業データベース（国立情報学研究所）)（https://kaken.nii.ac.jp/ja/grant/KAKENHI-PROJECT-14730060/)を加工して作成
